Hearty Pork and Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can petite cut tomatoes
  • 2 celery stalk, sliced
  • 2 carrot, finely diced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch each of thyme, oregano and black pepper
  • 1/2 cup small pasta - shells, bow ties or other mini shape

Cooking instructions:
1. In a non stick saucepan over medium heat, cook pork, onion, and garlic, breaking up pork until meat begins to brown.
2. Drain off drippings.
3. Add broth, tomato, celery, carrot, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano and pepper.
4. Bring to boil for 1 minute.
5. Add pasta, reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or til vegetables and pasta are tender.
6. Serve with crusty whole wheat rolls.
